Chile: Aggregate activity grew 2.3% YoY in May
Summary
Monthly activity index increased 2.3% YoY in May, below both our and market consensus (3.1% YoY). The figure was mainly driven by positive contribution from mining partially offset by declines in wholesale trade. With this print, aggregate activity growth has accumulated a 2.5% YoY at May. For June, we forecast an expansion range of between 2% and 3% in annual terms.
