Chile Flash: There was not unanimity in the decision to maintain the MPR at 4% on the last Central Bank meeting

Summary

As revealed by the minute of the monetary policy meeting of June, there was no consensus at the last decision to maintain the MPR at 4.0%, situation that could help to the Central Bank to accelerate the pace to a lower level of the MPR in the short term. Thus, we forecast, as we have reiterated since early this year, the MPR will reach "at least" at 3.25% eop in 2014.
