China | The fifth plenum: What to expect?
Summary
The 200 members of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party are convening in Beijing this week for the Party’s fifth plenum. The heavily-guarded meeting, which concludes tomorrow, will focus on the formulation of China’s 13th Five Year Plan (FYP) for the period 2016-2020. We take stock of some of the main developments to watch out for.
