Summary

Galicia is building on the recovery that started towards the end of 2013. The ongoing correction of imbalances guarantees an increasingly high contribution from domestic demand. On the other hand, exports have lost the momentum seen in the previous edition of this publication. Furthermore, there are still challenges ahead to ensure a level of productivity and GDP per capita growth that narrows the gap between this region and the more advanced areas of Spain and Europe.
