India’s ‘Modi’-fying economic ties with Asia – Well begun but not yet half done

Summary

Since taking office last May, India’s new government led by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has showcased a strong intent to boost trade and investment ties with rest of the world. Mr.Modi is keen on reviving India's sluggish growth by fast-tracking domestic reforms and attracting much needed foreign capital to fund infrastructure development, enhance energy security and expand manufacturing activity.
