In March 2020, the balance of current credit granted by commercial banks to the private sector grew at a nominal annual rate of 10.5% (7.0% real), almost 5.0 percentage points (pp) above the rate observed the previous month (5.4%), but less than the nominal rate of 11.1% registered in March 2019.
