The Basque Country has returned to growth in 2014 after contracting severely in 2013 (-1.9%). The BBVA Research scenario foresees 1.1% growth in 2014 and an acceleration to 1.8% in 2015. The context is one of recovery in domestic demand and improved performance in external markets, based on the acceleration of global growth to rates close to 1.8% in 2015.
