Peru | Inflation resumes upward trend in November
Summary
Inflation reached 0,34%MoM in November due to the upward correction in some food prices. As a result, YoY inflation went up to 4,2% (3,7% in October). Going forward, we foresee inflation accelerating in the coming months on the back of further PEN depreciation and El Niño weather phenomenon effects, a context which leads us to believe the CB will soon raise its policy rate
