Peru | No change in the policy rate and we expect this to continue in the 2H15

Summary

The Central Bank kept the policy rate at 3,25% in June. Depreciation pressures on the PEN and a more challenging inflation outlook curbed any monetary policy stance easing in order to support weak private spending. We expect this situation to persist in the coming months and hence the policy rate to remain at 3,25% in 2H15.
