Popularity of Marina Silva threatens Rousseff’s re-election in Brazil
Summary
Marina Silva is replacing the late Eduardo Campos as candidate for the Brazilian presidential elections in October. Also in Brazil, mid-August inflation remained within the target range of the central bank, which yesterday announced a further cut in reserve requirements to stimulate credit. Today we expect Mexican GDP to have accelerated to 0.85% QoQ in the second quarter.
