Spain | Social Security registration in June confirms the good tone of the labour market in 2Q18
Summary
The recovery of the labour market gained speed in the second quarter. Excluding seasonal factors, the number of Social Security registrations increased by 0.8% quarterly, in line with the previous half-year, and unemployment fell by 1.6% QoQ, a decrease of 0.2 pp. These figures anticipate GDP growth of around 0.8% QoQ in 2Q18.
