United States Economic Outlook. Fourth Quarter 2014

Summary

Global growth has moderated in the second half of 2014, with downward revisions to many major economies amidst a sea of ongoing geopolitical threats. Low inflation continues to overshadow stronger job growth, leaving the Fed with a less certain read on the stability of economic activity. Risks to U.S. growth are tilted to the upside for the short-term but more balanced thereafter as monetary policy uncertainties linger in 2015
