Chile: Labour market, what will be the magnitude of the increase in the unemployment rate?

Summary

In the current cycle of slowdown in GDP growth, the labor market has shown an unusual resilience, at least in regard to its most representative indicator, the unemployment rate. Our vision is that although the increase in unemployment is a matter of time, it will be moderate in a scenario in which the economy grows back around its potential from 4Q14, however, risks are not negligible.
