U.S. | Interest Rates Chartbook April 2016

Summary

FOMC April statement, while not explicit, left the door open for a June rate hike, with the lack of dovish sentiment, & neutrality on both the domestic & global outlook. The likelihood for a June rate hike was also reestablished with the statement’s downgrade of the impact of global turbulence from “continue to pose risks” to something the committee will “closely monitor”
